APRON SURVEY ....

Just A few New Aprons from : www.overthetopaprons.com

APRON SURVEY:

Would you help me out? I make aprons and would like to know what you, as the consumer, like in an apron?
1. Would you give an apron as a gift?
2. Would you purchase an apron for yourself?
3. Are you concerned about quality of fabric, design, and workmanship?
4. Or are these areas not important to you, you just want a functional apron to work in the kitchen?
5. Any suggestions of what you would look for in an apron?

Let's see...

1. I would give an apron as a gift, and I have in the past. I like them as gifts for people setting up new households. :)

2. I would purchase an apron for myself, but am more likely to give them as gifts.

3. Yes, I am concerned about the quality of the workmanship, fabric, etc. Whether it's for me or someone else, I want it to last.

4. I think quality is important, whether you want a decorative or more functional apron. While I lean towards functional, I still want it to look cute.

5. I look for something I'd use often (i.e., the fabric holds up to frequent use, spills, washings, etc.). Also, I look for an apron in a cute print, because why buy one if it's not cute? For myself, I prefer the bib-type aprons, as I tend to spill more often on the upper half of my body when I'm cooking.

Does that help? :)

From the pictures i love every single one of them. I like cotton and something has is well made and reminds me of a vintage apron with a modern kick to it.

Not overly pricey but worth the investment.

I have a vintage apron i love a lot and i would love to have a few more.

I'm not really an apron wearer except when making holiday cookies from scratch. They are so messy, I like to wear an apron to keep myself from being covered in all the mixings! I like an apron with a pocket or two and one that goes over the neck and ties around the waist. I'm addicted to fabric, so a pretty fabric is always a plus in my book! Cotton is great because it's easy to wash and busy patterns hide any accidental stain! I love your black & white prints, of course, I love all of your aprons!

1. I would give an apron as a gift, for sure.

2. I would purchase one for myself.

3. Yes.

4. Yes.

5. I like the bib types better than the skirt types, as they are more functional for me.

As always, totally love your blog and your aprons. I do have to buy one soon! Do you make any for little boys?
