GOOGLE SAVY??
Google Pages .... How to get to the top? Does anyone have any experience or knowledge on how to get to the top of the list or at least on the first pages of listing on Google. I have been there several times and then it drops down. Does anyone know the mechanics of this? Is it how you use your keywords -- placing them at the beginning of your paragraph?
I have had some luck with my blog posting but I can't even find anything from my website. Just curious how all of this works. I would appreciate any input or insite. I know their is a lot of experience out there - and I am sure if you are reading this you have knowledge to offer. Thanks!

Well, that is a big question I could go on forever for!
First - page rank (power of your blog) is the first filter. You have a PR 2, which is low. Finding your blog on the first page of a key word will be easiest with non-common phrases. Page rank is mostly based on how strong links are to your blog, and how many.
To really drive a keyword, you will pound it out inside a post. Use it in the title, use it in links, use it in photo "names" and in alternate text. Use it in tags, and if possible have other blogs link to you using that same keyword in the link.
The google "ranking" changes every few months, so a keyword that was once strong can drop .... also, as others use the same keywords, relevance and how current the post is takes some importance.
The stongest keyword of them all will be in a blogs name, post title, meta data, and driven by high Page Rank.

I agree with what Speedcat said, but would like to add a little more to that as well..
To increase your google pagerank, there are a lot of things to consider including keywords, meta tags, incoming and outgoing links. One incoming link from a high PR site can increase your traffic and pagerank.
This all falls under the category of SEO (Search Engine Optimization). If you decide to research it more, chances are good that you'll discover many "experts" disagree about the best way to boost your PR ..
I'm not overly familiar with Blogger anymore, but hopefully they provide you with a way to use keywords in images etc. Definitely try to have links on other sites in the same topics that point back to your blog.

Hello, am here.. This is my problem too, I have my PR2 but it's only just 15 days stayed on my blog, just recently that G got it. I guess it's also because of some blog advertising that G hates that's why I guess - am penalized. I hope it will be back to me and increase even 1. heheh.. I hope so. And congrats you have 2, I hope it will raise then as time goes on.
