Remember, you can, and should, participate in multiple categories. The more categories that you legitimately join, the more exposure you get. What I mean by "legitimately" is that each category you join must represent a recurring theme on your site. Both the "Description" and the "Representative Post" that you use should justify your being in that category. In addition, you can and should request that categories be created.
If there are, from your perspective, any categories that you feel are missing you should request that they be created.
You should think of SlogBite as a resume for your site. What would you want a reader to know about your site? Use the categories as a way to explain what your site is all about, with examples (the representative posts.) You should also keep your entries current by replacing older “Representative Posts” with new ones.
